Ideally situated close to Preston Sands and all facilities, but in lovely quiet residential corner. Bright and spacious family holiday apartments, have fully equipped kitchens with full size cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and tea towel supplied. Lounges with bed settees and freeview TV with up to 80 channels of TV and radio. Family bedrooms have a double and 2 single beds - all bed linen and quilts are included and beds are made up ready on arrival. Cots (with bedding) and highchairs provided free of charge.Each apartment has its own shower room and toilet facilities.Broadband Wi-Fi internet access is available.There is a car park and garden to the rear of the house, and each apartment has its own designated parking space. For the little ones there is a small play house, climbing frame and slide or you can sit and relax in the hammock swing. A large gas BBq is available by prior arrangement. We are a non smoking establishment, but have a designated smoking area in the front garden, with seating facilities.In the heart of South Devon's English Riviera, in a lovely quiet residential area, we are just one road back from the sea front at Preston Sands, which is a lovely, gently shelving, sandy family beach, where pretty beach huts line the promenade.There is a great variety of family eateries, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes within a 2 to 10 minute walk away.Theatres in Paignton, Torquay, Plymouth and Exeter provide a wide range of entertainment and there is also an Apollo multiplex cinema close to Paignton Pier.Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, Quaywest Water Park, Babbacombe Model Village, Pirates Bay crazy golf, Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, Kents Cavern to name but a few of the local attractions.For those that like a little bit of culture and history, we have Oldway Mansion just round the corner, built by Isaac Singer (of sewing machine fame) and his son Paris, and modelled on the Palace of Versailles, and is believed to be haunted by Isadora Duncan. The bay was also home to Brunel and perhaps most famous of all, Agatha Christie, whose house at Greenaway has been restored by the National Trust and is now open to the public. Surfing, wind and kite surfing all take place regularly throughout the year from Preston Sands. Walking, fishing, golfing, boating, canoeing, scuba diving, paragliding, hang gliding, cycling are some of the many activities that are available locally.On the SW coast path, we are an ideal base for all of Dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall.The local airports are just 25 miles away at Exeter and Plymouth, both bus and train stations are available in Paignton.”
